Data Deletion Instructions
This page explains how to request deletion of personal data processed through the Yamador platform operated by شركة البرمجيات الحديثة لتقنية المعلومات ("Barmajeyyat"), including data connected to conversations on WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram.
If a business messaged you through Yamador
The business you communicated with controls your data. The fastest path is to contact that business directly and request deletion — it can remove your contact record, message history, and identifiers from its Yamador deployment. To simply stop receiving messages, reply STOP (SMS/WhatsApp) or use the opt-out option offered in the conversation; this suppresses future contact immediately.
Requesting deletion from Barmajeyyat
You can also send your request to us and we will process it and coordinate with the relevant business where applicable:
- Email privacy@barmajeyyat.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request".
- Include the identifier the messages were addressed to — the phone number (for WhatsApp/SMS/voice), email address, or the social account handle used in the conversation — and, if known, the name of the business that contacted you.
- We will acknowledge your request within 7 days and complete deletion of data held in Barmajeyyat-operated systems within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.
What gets deleted: transiently buffered message events in the Yamador Messaging Hub are removed automatically on a short retention schedule regardless of any request. Upon a verified request, we delete any remaining data relating to your identifier in systems we operate, and forward the request to the controlling business for data held in its own deployment.
Meta app users
If you interacted with a Barmajeyyat/Yamador integration through a Meta product (WhatsApp, Messenger, or Instagram) and wish to have associated data deleted, the instructions above apply. Requests submitted through Meta's data-deletion mechanisms are honoured in the same way and within the same timelines.
