Privacy Policy

Effective date: 23 July 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how شركة البرمجيات الحديثة لتقنية المعلومات ("Barmajeyyat", "we", "us"), the company behind the Yamador customer engagement platform, collects, uses, and protects personal data in connection with this website, the Yamador platform, the Yamador Messaging Hub, and our integrations with third-party messaging platforms, including the WhatsApp Business Platform, Messenger, and Instagram messaging operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. ("Meta").

1. Our role

Yamador is business software. Our customers — the businesses that use Yamador to communicate with their own customers — decide whom to contact, on which channel, and with what content. For the personal data of message recipients ("end users"), our business customer is the data controller and Barmajeyyat acts as a data processor / service provider, processing data only on the customer's documented instructions. For data about visitors to this website and our direct business contacts, Barmajeyyat is the data controller.

2. Data we process

2.1 On behalf of our business customers

2.2 As controller

3. Messaging platform data (WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram)

When a business uses Yamador with Meta messaging channels, we receive data from Meta's APIs (such as inbound messages, delivery and read events, and messaging identifiers) and send data to Meta's APIs (outbound messages) strictly to provide the service to that business. In doing so:

4. How we use data

We do not sell personal data. We do not use end-user message content for marketing our own services or for training unrelated systems.

5. Retention

6. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption of data in transit (TLS) and of stored credentials at rest, authenticated and signed service-to-service communication, role-based access control, tenant isolation enforced at the database layer, and audit logging of sensitive actions. Yamador is designed to be deployable on customer premises so that message content and contact data can remain inside the customer's own network.

7. Sharing

We share personal data only with:

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to processing.

If you received messages from a business using Yamador: that business is the controller of your data — please direct requests to it first. You can stop receiving messages at any time, for example by replying STOP to an SMS or using the opt-out option in the conversation. We will assist our customers in honouring your rights.

You may also contact us directly at privacy@barmajeyyat.com, and see our Data Deletion Instructions.

9. International processing

The Yamador Messaging Hub is operated regionally: message events for a customer are buffered in the region serving that customer. Customer deployments themselves run on infrastructure chosen and controlled by the customer.

10. Children

Yamador is business software and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly process children's data for our own purposes.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision; material changes will be posted on this page.
